The 2026 French May Arts Festival is packed with cultural events that celebrate the illuminating power of exchange and savour the joys of French heritage.

Initiated & co-founded by the Consulate General of France and the Alliance Française de Hong Kong in 1993, with the support of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, French May has grown over the last 30 years to become one of the largest French arts festivals in Asia.
French May Arts Festival stages every year over 120 of the highest international calibre, covering a broad array of artistic disciplines that include the visual arts, opera, classical and contemporary music, dance, new circus, theatre and cinema as well as the culinary arts. The festival is a unique opportunity to discover the best of the French artistic scene in Hong Kong!

Alexandre Dumas' Three Musketeers: when East meets West

This ambitious production reimagines Henri Diamant-Berger’s 1921 silent film Les Trois Mousquetaires through a bold fusion of Western classical music and live performance. Schools of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts—Music, Drama, Film & Television—collaborate to bring this legendary tale to the stage.
